Description
PRM Vapor Recovery Vacuum Pump for Fuel Dispensers
The PRM Vapor Recovery Vacuum Pump, available in ARP-70A and PA-VR2 configurations, is designed for gasoline fuel dispensers and Stage II vapor recovery systems. It draws fuel-air vapor from the dispensing system and returns it through the vapor recovery path, helping petrol stations maintain stable vapor recovery performance during refueling.
PRM is a China manufacturer of vapor recovery equipment, fuel dispenser nozzles, hoses, breakaways, separators and vapor recovery units. This pump series is available with single or double pump heads to match different dispenser layouts and vapor recovery requirements.
Product Introduction
The Vapor Recovery Vacuum Pump is installed inside or alongside a compatible fuel dispenser. It uses an electric motor and direct-drive shaft structure to generate vacuum for vapor recovery during gasoline dispensing.
Integrated flame arresters are arranged at the inlet and outlet sides to support use in gasoline vapor recovery applications. The pump control signal comes from the dispenser electromagnetic valve, creating a simple control arrangement for automatic start and stop during fueling.
With a self-lubricating soft piston, die-cast aluminum housing and compact construction, the PRM vapor recovery pump is designed for low-noise operation, convenient installation and routine maintenance.

Key Features
Stable vapor recovery performance
The PRM Vapor Recovery Vacuum Pump provides strong air extraction capacity and is designed to support gas-liquid ratio control during refueling, including systems operating around 45 L/min dispensing speed.
Single and double pump head options
Choose a single-head version for standard dispenser configurations or a double-head version where higher vapor recovery flow is required.
Direct-drive motor structure
The drive shaft and motor are directly connected, helping create a compact arrangement with straightforward installation and service access.
Self-lubricating piston design
The soft piston structure supports lower noise, wear resistance and dependable operation in frequent fuel station service.
Integrated flame arrester arrangement
Inlet and outlet flame arresters are incorporated for gasoline vapor recovery applications, supporting safe system integration.
Compact aluminum housing
The die-cast aluminum shell helps protect internal components while keeping the pump compact for installation inside compatible fuel dispensers.
Applications
The PRM Vapor Recovery Vacuum Pump is suitable for:
Product Details
Pump head assembly
Available in single or double pump head versions to match the number of dispensing positions and the required vapor recovery capacity.
Motor and drive shaft
The direct-drive configuration minimizes unnecessary transmission parts and supports a compact overall layout.
Vapor inlet and outlet
The pump connects to the vapor recovery circuit of the fuel dispenser. Confirm hose diameter, fittings and mounting dimensions before ordering.
Control connection
The pump is designed to receive an on/off control signal from the dispenser electromagnetic valve. Electrical connection must be completed by qualified personnel.
Installation and Maintenance
Install the pump in a dry, protected position within the compatible fuel dispenser system. Confirm the voltage, frequency, pump-head configuration and vapor recovery piping before wiring or commissioning.
Inspect electrical connections, vapor hoses, flame arresters and mounting points regularly. Keep the pump body clean and do not operate the equipment when leakage, abnormal noise or damaged connections are found. The outlet gas temperature must remain within the product’s specified operating limit.
Quality, Packaging and Supply
PRM lists factory functional testing for this vapor recovery pump series. Standard packaging uses protective foam fixing inside a carton; wooden export packaging can be confirmed for larger orders or destination-specific requirements.
For procurement, provide the requested voltage, single or double pump head configuration, dispenser brand or drawing, hose connection requirement and target market certification requirements.
FAQ
What is the difference between single and double pump heads?
The single-head version has a maximum flow rate of 70 L/min, while the double-head version reaches 140 L/min.
Can this pump fit every fuel dispenser?
No. Compatibility depends on the dispenser layout, voltage, control signal, mounting size and vapor recovery piping.
Is this pump for gasoline transfer?
No. It is a vacuum pump for gasoline vapor recovery, designed to move vapor-air mixture in a compatible fuel dispenser system.
Can PRM provide OEM supply?
Yes. PRM can discuss OEM identification, pump configuration, packaging and other project-specific requirements.
What must be confirmed before ordering?
Confirm model, voltage, single or double pump head, connection dimensions, control requirements, certification needs and destination-market standards.
